Where we are
Our Almchalet Goldbergleiten is located at the end of the Upper Mölltal in Carinthia, in a fog-free, sunny and absolutely quiet panoramic location on the edge of the forest at 1,300 m above sea level. Our mountain house is located at the foot of the eponymous Goldberg group in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, surrounded by the mighty 3,000 meter peaks of the Schober massif and the 3,798 m high Grossglockner. It is only 15 minutes by car or ski bus to the high alpine ski area of Heiligenblut-Grossglockner; the hiking and mountain bike routes and, in winter, the ski and snowshoe tours start right from the front door. The walk to the village of Sagritz (tavern, shops, ski bus), about 10 minutes, leads right past us.

Directions in winter: The mountain road to us is cleared and gritted by the municipality. However, for vehicles without all-wheel drive, it is recommended that you take along SNOW CHAINS for safety reasons!

- Postbus stop “Untersagritz”. 1.7 km distance from our hut, walking time approx. 20 minutes. Upon request, individual transfer from/to the bus stop with our taxi service, free of charge for our guests! Transfer time approx. 5 minutes.
By plane:
- Klagenfurt Airport (KLU), distance approx. 150 km. Upon request, individual transfer with our taxi service at a special price. Transfer time approx. 1.5 hours.
